Pay homage to the longest climb in the UK, the staple testing ground for riders in the North.
At 8.6km long, Cragg Vale is the longest continuous climb in the whole of the UK. Situated in theĀ Calder Valley the climb was visited by the Tour de France in 2014 before the route headed to other famous landmarks in Yorkshire.Ā
It's a go to route for the Lusso team, with Craggies cafe half way up providing a useful place to stop and refuel (eat cake). For more serious cyclists, it is the place to do a 20 minute FTP test, with zero interruptions. Legend has it that Jake, our CEO, used to have to put his brakes on so he could keep putting the power down without reaching the top too quickly...
